The weekend started out a bit rainy, but we had an Easter lunch with Grandma Brown, Aunt Jennifer, and cousins Cypress and Gunner. Scout had her first taste of potato salad and baked beans and didn't seem to mind them. ;) She also sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time as well. Its hard to believe a week from today she will be 8 months old. She is growing so much and its hard to believe what a little peanut she started out as.
Today we have enjoyed the outside so much! We started out with an Easter Egg hunt out at Grandma & Grandpa Browns, followed by a trip to Menard's for some landscaping materials. Wish me luck I am trying to start some flowers indoors. Now we all know what kind of thumb I have and it definitely isn't green. Hopefully this year will be the year where I find myself to be a happy gardener. We are still working on the house, trying to get the landscaping designs written out and have put down some grass seed to fill in a few spots and cover the hole in the yard Logan and Kole so diligently dug last week. Here are some photos from the weekend. They finally took down Santa's house and put up some egg decorations on the square so I took Scout down for some pre-Easter photos, she also found her binky (which she hasn't used in about 2 months now) and decided that it might just be the best thing she has found in her toy tote. Miss Scout also decided this last week that it is much more fun to steal the spoon and try to feed herself which has made for some pretty interesting meal times. ;)
