Scouts first tooth

Well it's here! Just one week before she turns nine months on April 26th her first little tooth showed it self. Scout has been in a much better mood and we are so proud of her and can't believe how much she has grown. We have been pretty busy here in the Brown house. The kids, school, work, and everything else in life is really keeping us on our toes. Along with RC. She is doing good, we are working more on house training and teaching her that Scout & her toys are not chew toys for the puppy. :) Hope everyone is having a great week and will post more next week!!

Lots going on...

what an amazing and busy weekend! Scout and I started out the weekend with the First Annual Girls Day Out with Grandma Sara, Aunt Barbie, Cousin Caitlin, and Mommy. We spent a full day in Omaha shopping around to find some of the best deals and just enjoying spending some time together. It was a great day!
Friday evening Mike and I took to the road to go pick up Scout's early birthday present. Royal Contessa Miss Belladocious Monkey Moo (aka RC) was brought home and welcomed with open arms. Hotrod is still getting used to having another dog in the house, they have their moments where she wants to play and he doesn't.. but they will get there. Scout loves her puppy and so do the boys so we are pretty happy to have expanded our family and "adopted" a new little one. :)
Saturday Grandma & Grandpa Lux came for a visit and we played talked and ate. They brought Scout a little Husker Cheerleading outfit just in time to wear to show our Husker support for the spring game. Today we plan on relaxing... well that is the plan anyway ;)

Happy 8 Months & Easter

It was a great weekend. I do not think I could have asked for a better one. Time spent with family, and gorgeous weather. What could be better? Miss Scout turned 8 months on Easter Sunday as well. We had a little dinner party on Friday night with family, Saturday we spent doing some landscaping and yard work, and then Sunday we were up bright and early for sunrise service at church. I really have nothing else to say, it was just a glorious weekend. ;)
Hope everyone else had as great a time as we did and got to catch up with friends and family as well...

Good Friday...

In more ways than one. I have had an amazing day with the kids. We slept in played with the nerf guns, and are going to color our Easter Eggs this evening. Tomorrow is the Easter Egg hunt at Pawnee Park, forgive me I can't remember the great volunteer group that puts this one together. Its been a tradition for quite awhile now and I am excited to take Scout to her first hunt, even if she will just be a spectator. Kole of course is too old to participate but I'm sure he will be more than willing to help Logan find some candy. ;) This year I am hoping that cousin Caitlin will be able to make it and grab some eggs of her own. There are so many things that I am thankful for and Easter really brings it all into perspective. What a great and wonderful God we have!
Many blessings to you all this weekend and may you all have a Hoppy Easter.
